My dog has allergies. What kind of treats do you use? All dogs love treats! We try to treat your dog to reinforce good behavior, while staying sensitive to concerns about over-treating. These days, vets and dog owners often confront the fact that many dogs have wheat and other allergies. We like to play it safe and use treats like rawhide sticks, liver treats, duck, and sweet potato strips. We are happy to provide a list of our treats at any time, however we do request that you let us know if your dog has any allergies so we can watch out and make sure he or she remains safe and happy.

How many dogs do you walk on your group walks?
Our group walks max out at three dogs. Our primary goal is to ensure the safety of everyone, dogs and neighbors. We like to make sure that we're able to pay the necessary attention to your dog and his or her surroundings so that we all have a happy, fun walk.

Do you accept dogs with aggression issues? Absolutely. That's the reason we offer individual walks. It would be great if all dogs were able to socialize and be on group walks, but like people, dogs don't always like all other dogs. Thorough socialization is ultimately the goal for every dog, but if your dog's not quite there yet, we can work with him and her on an individual basis. This also allows us to more closely monitor and assist with your dog's healing, teaching him or her the best ways to interact with other dogs and people.

What kind of dog training accreditation do you have for your training walks? We have a fair amount of dog training experience, and have learned from both taking training classes and the experience of working with our own dogs. We don't claim to be professional dog trainers, behavior specialists, or the dog whisperer; however we do have the experience necessary to reinforce your basic training, including routine practice of commands like "sit," "stay," "come," "heel," etc. If you have specific questions about your dog's behavior, we are happy to help or to refer you to someone with the specific knowledge you and your dog need.

Do you have references? We appreciate the fact that you are trusting your beloved family friend with us. To alleviate your concerns, a few references are listed in our testimonial section. We also like to meet you and your dog prior to providing services, so we can all get to know each other. At City Dog Sitting, we know the importance of ensuring you both are comfortable with us. If possible, our walker will meet you and your dog at walk time, and accompany you to learn your dog's routines. We encourage you to email us with any further questions you might have.

What kind of payments do you accept? Standard cash and checks are always acceptable. For your convenience we also take Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover via PayPal. This can be set-up to automatically bill if you have regular walks scheduled with us, or we can invoice via email with simple click-to-pay option.

I’ve seen a few coupons offers online. What kind of promotions do you currently have ongoing? You may have seen one of our promotional cards or an online coupon at our Google.com, Yelp.com or Supepages.com listing. We’ve recently initiated two excellent discount programs for our clients. The first is our "Get to Know City Dog Sitting" offer. This offer applies to all new clients, who are eligible to receive a 20% off discount off their first month of service. The other is City Dog Sitting's "Our Neighbors" discount, in which customers residing in eligible neighborhood buildings receive an ongoing 10% off of dog walking and dog sitting services. A printable PDF with details (requires Adobe Acrobat) is a click away. As always, the first visit, in which we meet with you and your dog, is free.
